MSC Cruises: the new MSC Aurea Spa brings wellness medicine and AI on board

MSC Cruises is adapting to the strong growth in wellness tourism by announcing a profound transformation of its historic MSC Aurea Spa. Throughout 2026, the onboard offerings across the entire fleet will evolve to resemble the best international wellness centers, responding to travelers’ desire to return home rejuvenated in body and mind. This evolution, presented by company managers Georg Schmickler and Claudio Saviano, aims to combine the classic relaxation of sea vacations with highly technological and personalized beauty and personal care treatments.

Among the main new features debuting from summer 2026 are aesthetic medicine treatments (such as fillers and intravenous therapies) performed by qualified industry professionals, AI-guided skin analysis, and professional teeth whitening. Guests can also try the Japanese Head Spa for hair care, new therapeutic barbershop services, ear piercing, and a relaxing herbal tea service. Furthermore, also starting from summer 2026, guests traveling in MSC Yacht Club and “Aurea Experience” cabins will receive a special welcome bag with premium wellness products and accessories.
