MSC World Asia: a new large three-in-one Asian restaurant debuts aboard

admin il 6 July 2026

MSC Cruises has unveiled details of one of the most anticipated novelties on board the future flagship MSC World Asia: an innovative pan-Asian gastronomic space that will encompass three different souls within the same venue. Curated by chefs Xiao Wang and Luca Césarini, the environment has been designed to recreate the energy and aromas of street food markets in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, combining food, themed decor and music to offer a true sensory journey.

This large integrated space will allow passengers to choose the most suitable option based on the time of day. Guests will find a main restaurant with indoor tables and an outdoor terrace, where they can enjoy typical dishes accompanied by Asian beers or bubble tea, and a lounge bar specializing in exotic cocktails with scents of jasmine, rose or matcha tea. The real convenience, however, will be the window for free takeaway service (on-the-go), designed for those who want a quick snack between activities with grab-and-go specialties like bao buns and crispy fish balls.

MSC World Asia will debut in December 2026 in the Mediterranean with an unprecedented culinary offering featuring 19 dining venues and 6 specialty restaurants. In addition to the new Asian concept and a Mediterranean restaurant yet to be unveiled, MSC fleet classics will return on board, including the American-style steakhouse Butcher’s Cut, the colorful Mexican eatery Hola! Tacos & Cantina, and the two Japanese offerings Kaito Sushi Bar and Kaito Teppanyaki.
