Disney Cruise Line has revealed the first official details about the new Disney Believe, the fourth ship belonging to the Wish class, arriving in late 2027, unveiling its concept and features during the Horizons: D23 Disney Experiences Showcase event. Through the new Ship’s Log, fans will be able to closely follow the construction phases at the German Meyer Werft shipyards and the work of the Imagineers. The ship will be inspired by the theme of believing in one’s dreams and will host attractions and experiences based on some of Disney’s most beloved stories, including Moana, Encanto, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, and Snow White.

The pulsating heart of the ship will be the Grand Hall, a large central area designed as an immersive gathering space and inspired by the world of Moana. The environment will evoke the atmospheres and artisanal traditions of the South Pacific, with a bronze statue at its center depicting the protagonist Moana, along with her inseparable companions Pua and Heihei. During the presentation, Creative Director Claire Weiss emphasized how the entire project aims to celebrate the power of nature, family, and Disney magic through a coordinated and elegant design.

As is tradition for the fleet, the Disney Believe will feature unique artistic details on its exterior livery. At the stern of the ship, sculptures of Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story will stand tall, depicted carving the vessel’s name with large yellow crayon sticks and a block font. The bow, on the other hand, will be adorned with a hand-painted filigree featuring the silhouette of Tinker Bell (Peter Pan from 1953), accompanied by the figures of Peter, Wendy, and Captain Hook flying among the ship’s decorations.
