139 days around the world: the journey of a lifetime for Costa’s 80th anniversary

To celebrate a historic milestone and **eighty years of activity and passion for the sea**, Costa Cruises has unveiled the new **2028 World Tour aboard Costa Deliziosa**. More than just a cruise, this itinerary has been conceived as a true concentration of legendary experiences for those who wish to explore the planet without compromise. Departing on November 25, 2027, it will last a total of 139 days, crossing five continents, three oceans, and 51 destinations, offering travelers the chance to wake up every morning to a completely different panorama and to enjoy 15 guided excursions already included in the package.

The first part of Costa Deliziosa’s journey will take lucky guests to discover the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, stopping at **Marseille, Barcelona, Cadiz, Lisbon**, and the **Azores Islands** before arriving among the skyscrapers of **New York with an overnight stay**. Continuing south and touching Port Everglades, the ship will make its debut at **Celebration Key**, the new island of the Carnival group, of which Costa is a part, in the Bahamas, open for the first time to guests of the Italian company with its pristine white sandy beaches. Once past the Equator, wild nature will take over amidst the untouched landscapes of **Samoa, Fiji, and New Zealand**, paving the way for arrival in Australia. Guests will experience the unique thrill of entering the port of **Sydney** in front of the iconic Opera House before exploring the natural wonders of the Great Barrier Reef in **Cairns**. The journey will continue towards Asia of great contrasts, touching Japan with stops in **Tokyo, Shimizu, and Kobe**, then reaching South Korea, **Taiwan, Hong Kong**, and Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia, alternating futuristic metropolises with ancient temples and traditional markets. The final phase of the voyage will ascend the Indian Ocean, passing through the Maldives, before exploring South Africa, including **Durban, Port Elizabeth, and Cape Town**, the pristine landscapes of Namibia at **Walvis Bay**, and concluding the return to Europe.
