Ticketferries gets a fresh look: complete restyling and zero hidden costs for Italy’s first ferry aggregator

admin il 27 October 2026

Ticketferries – the first all-Italian ferry company aggregator – is undergoing a complete revamp. After a year and a half of testing, during which it has supported hundreds of customers, guiding them towards the best offers on the market, Ticketferries is back online with a new interface that brings significant aesthetic and functional improvements.

All content has been “restructured” to meet customer needs without requiring external site consultations. The portal now integrates 1,000 new information sheets, in Italian and English, along with updated statistics on connections, the cheapest routes, the fastest ones, and average prices. Loading speed has also been accelerated to comply with all modern accessibility standards.

“The goal of this drastic redesign,” explains Matteo Lorusso, general manager of Taoticket, the web agency that owns the brands Ticketferries, Ticketprivatejet and Ticketcrociere, “is to provide travelers with all the necessary practical information on a single platform, reducing search times and the steps required to complete their ferry booking.”

All the new features of the restyling: shipping companies, ports, and destinations

Shipping companies: 75 new company-dedicated sheets detail schedules and check-in procedures, baggage management, onboard services, rules for vehicles in garages, animal access, tariff concessions, and ticket modification or cancellation policies.

Ports: over 1,000 new sheets are dedicated to ports of call, illustrating gate accessibility, road network, security and border controls, port taxes, and rules on dangerous goods.

Destinations: 80 new sheets clarify necessary entry documents, customs procedures, and health requirements for traveling with animals.

Ticketferries, the ferry booking platform without hidden costs

Initially developed as a search engine within Ticketcrociere – Italy’s leading platform for booking cruises with all major companies – and then transformed into an autonomous website, Ticketferries is the first all-Italian aggregator of ferry companies. Thanks to an intuitive interface that provides a real-time comprehensive overview of routes, schedules, offers, and fares, Ticketferries allows passengers to easily compare available prices and finalize purchases in just a few clicks.

The portal’s booking model combines transparency, ease of use, and transaction security to ensure the elimination of intermediation costs. Unlike large international aggregators that dominate the sector and apply final commissions between 20 and 50 euros, the platform completely eliminates agency fees for the end customer, positioning itself as one of the most competitive industry websites on the market.

On Ticketferries, you can view offers from eight companies – Grandi Navi Veloci, Grimaldi Lines, Tirrenia, Moby, Toremar, Corsica Ferries, Caronte & Tourist and Blue Star Ferries – which sail along the coasts of 21 European and North African countries including Italy, Albania, Greece, Spain, Algeria, Morocco, Netherlands, Germany, and France. The 1,942 available routes are set to increase: the project plans to expand the portfolio, also adding ferries in Northern Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
