Silversea Cruises recently announced 54 new trips for the winter 2020/2021 and also an exclusive presale for the members of the Venetian Society which is known as the loyalty program of the company.
With the growing range of destinations, Silversea Cruises shall offer guests new and exciting experiences with an increase in unique ports and 20 maiden calls. The Silversea destination program focuses on iconic and rare travel experiences.
The new travel collection for the winter itineraries of Silver Muse, Silver Whisper, Silver Shadow, Silver Spirit and Silver Moon (an ultra-luxurious sister ship to the Silver Muse which will enter the fleet in August 2020) will sail to the wonders of the Caribbean, Asia, Australia and South America. Guests can enjoy free economy-class flights or upgrade to business class starting at $ 199 per leg, as well as transfers on all trips in the new collection (exceptions may apply).

Silversea in Caribbean
There will be 26 cruises aboard Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper and Silver Moon with 46 Caribbean destinations and immersive experiences, such as exploring the rainforests of St. Lucia, shopping in the boutiques of St. Barth and relaxing in the paved courtyards with Spanish tiles from San Juan. Guests will discover more intimate and less known ports, such as Jost Van Dyke, Bequia and Mayreau and will have the opportunity to enjoy the culture and landscapes of Cuba. Many trips to the Caribbean will have Fort Lauderdale as a port of departure and arrival .
Among the Caribbean cruises on offer, Silver Whisper will depart from Fort Lauderdale on November 10, 2020 for a 10-day trip to Bridgetown in Barbados. Guests will visit San Juan, Jost Van Dyke, St. John’s, Fort-de-France, Mayreau, St. George’s and Bequia, before arriving in Bridgetown on November 20, 2020.
Silversea in Asia
In Asia, Silver Muse and Silver Spirit will take guests to 58 destinations in 18 countries. Each ship will make seven journeys between September 2020 and May 2021. In addition to stopovers in the main ports of Mumbai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo, the highlights of the new collection are the moorings in various ports in Vietnam and the trips to Tokyo during the Sakura blossom season.
Among the new Asian cruises on offer, the route from Tokyo to Tokyo on board the Silver Muse, which will begin a 15-day circumnavigation of Honshu, the largest island in Japan, starting from the capital on April 5, 2021. On the flagship of the company, Silversea guests will visit Shimizu, Kobe (with overnight) and Hiroshima, before reaching the South Korean city of Yeosu. Later, travelers will explore Kanazawa, Niigata, Akita, Aomori and Hakodate, for a full immersion in the beauty of the region. The return to Tokyo is scheduled for April 19, 2021.
Discovering Australia
There are 49 destinations scheduled from October 2020 to March 2021 between Australia, New Zealand and neighboring countries. By combining three trips (from Sydney to Fremantle (Perth), from Fremantle to Bali and from Bali to Sydney), travelers will be able to complete a 50-day circumnavigation of Australia aboard Silver Muse, also discover New Zealand and Indonesia.
The iconic destinations of Australia and New Zealand, in addition to the Pacific islands, will also be offered in a series of trips from Sydney to Auckland between December 2020 and February 2021. Among the cruises offered in the new collection, between December 20, 2020 and January 5, 2021, Silver Muse will start a 16-day trip from Sydney to Auckland: after docking in Melbourne, guests will travel to Burnie in Tasmania, before setting sail for New Zealand where it will be possible to visit Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and Dusky Sounds. Port Chalmers (Dunedin), Akaroa, Kaikoura, Wellington, Gisborne and Tauranga will follow before the nocturnal docking in Auckland.
Circumnavigating South America
The new Silver Moon flagship will travel through Central and South America between January and April 2021 for 55 destinations in 27 countries. The cruise will be enriched by SALT, the pioneering gastronomic concept of Silversea that allows travelers to create connections with the visited destinations through unique culinary experiences.
Guests will be able to circumnavigate South America in 69 days by combining four trips from Fort Lauderdale to Fort Lauderdale. In the first part of this experience, the Silversea guests will travel to Callao in Peru, departing on January 7, 2021. They will touch Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Belize City, Roatan island, Puerto Limón and the San Blas islands. It will also pass through the Panama Canal. The following nights in Fuerte Amador (Panama City) and Guayaquil will precede the arrival in Salaverry, before reaching Callao (Lima). The second trip is a 22-day journey from Callao to Buenos Aires, along the Chilean fjords, and touching Ushaia and other destinations, before setting sail for the capital of Argentina. The third itinerary includes destinations in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil before arriving in Rio de Janeiro. Concluding the circumnavigation, Silver Moon will touch other places in Brazil, French Guiana, Barbados, Grenada, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, French West Indies and Puerto Rico, before returning to Fort Lauderdale on 17 March 2021.
