Royal Caribbean International Cruise Company opened Perfect Day at CocoCay, the attention-attracting private island in Bahamas, to their first cruise passengers.
CocoCay is the first island of Royal Caribbean`s Perfect Day IslandCollection. To create this “Neverland”, the company invested 250 million dollars to provide a series of ideal attractions mixed with the natural beaches of fine and white sands for a family vacation.
There are 11 Royal Caribbean ships available from Miami and American northeastern ports to make an exclusive stopover for the guests to enjoy the Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Experience the Perfect Day at CocoCay
You will have much fun in the Thrill Waterpark which includes two water towers and 13 slides. There is the highest waterslide in North America called Daredevil’s Peak (40m high), the tube slide called Twister allowing two persons to descend simultaneously, the largest Caribbean wave pool called Wave Pool and an interactive water obstacle course called Adventure Pool with floating water lilies and a free climbing wall.
The highest observation point in the Bahamas will be the helium balloon Up, Up and Away which can reach at 137 meters high. The 500m long Zipline can bring the guests across the island above 15 meters high to the port.
There is the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean called Oasis Lagoon, which is also the heart of Perfect Day at CocoCay. Coco Loco water bar, loungers and cabanas are equipped nearby.
Sports enthusiasts can go to South Beach to play beach volleyball, basketball, soccer, paddle boarding and zorbing (inside a huge inflatable ball) and discover the seabed on a glass-bottomed kayak. Relax in a floating bar Snack Shack complete your Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Another beach called Chill Island is an opportunity to isolate yourself from the world to enjoy the white sand and turquoise water. There are beach bars, loungers and cabanas available.
The children will be attracted by the activities such as Captain Jill’s Galleon, an interactive play structure with water slides, or Splashaway Bay, a water park with slides, tipping buckets, fountains and geysers. There are two restaurants on the island: Captain Jack is a rowboat-shaped bar serving drinks and chicken with typical Caribbean sauces and Skipper’s Grill provide salads, sandwiches, tacos, hamburgers and fresh fruit to keep the whole family happy.
Perfect Day at CocoCay does not end here. The Coco Beach Club will open in December for guests to experience pure Caribbean style. The Overwater Cabanas as the first trial in the Bahamas are also arriving, each with a slide in the water, a hammock and a dedicated butler. And there is an Infinity Pool on the sea with sunbeds on the water and the Club and Deck Area with a series of cabanas on beach side and a Mediterranean style restaurant.
Royal Caribbean will continue to complete the Perfect Day Island Collection and the next islands shall be in Asia, Australia and the Caribbean.
