Not much time has passed since the Monaco Grand Prix of F1 2019 and Silversea is already thinking about next year. In fact, the cruise company will provide the chance for the passengers to live the experience on the Silver Shadow of this year once again on Silver Spirit to watch the race of Formula 1 from a privileged location, together with attached exclusive benefits.
Those who want to secure a front row seat can already choose one of the two cruises that include the call to Montecarlo on May 23, 2020 and the Grand Prix option.
The two possibilities are: Venice-Barcelona from May 5 to May 26, 2020 and Rome-Barcelona from May 17 to 26. Guests who book and pay for travel in full by June 28, 2019, will benefit from a 10% early booking bonus on the total price.
“There is no occasion like the Monaco Grand Prix; the atmosphere is incredible.” says Adria Bono, Senior Director of Destination Experiences in Silversea, “With this option, we enable our guests to enjoy a sporting event known all over the world, inimitable for its charm and prestige. And all this from a privileged position.”
The guests of Silver Shadow who chose the Grand Prix option in the past weekend of 25 and 26 May, were able to live an experience that went far beyond the possibility of attending the race from the privileged position of the Princess Grace Dance Academy.
In fact they spent the day relaxing in the gardens and on the terraces of the villa; they sipped champagne, listened to live music and admired works of art inspired by the motoring world. They were also able to benefit from health and beauty treatments. And again, they had the chance to race on an F1 car in the streets of the principality in virtual mode thanks to a driving simulator; finally they met the former pilot Felipe Massa.
“Welcoming our guests in such an exclusive place for one of the most incredible sporting events in the world that testifies to the quality of the experiences offered by Silversea.” says Peter Shanks, Managing Director of Silversea for the United Kingdom, Ireland, Middle East and Africa, present at the event, “This four-storey villa overlooking the track is not only the perfect place to enjoy the race, but also to socialize and enjoy a refined dinner. The feedback was fantastic and we can’t wait to repeat the experience next year on the occasion of the Monaco 2020 Grand Prix.”
