Cruises in the Mediterranean will reserve more surprises in 2020. MSC, for instance, will propose with MSC Lirica two new routes, with new ports and destinations.
Trieste homeport for MSC Lirica:
From 8 May to 12 June and from 18 September to 23 October 2020, MSC Lirica will be on the same cruise: Italy, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro. The ship will offer a seven-night cruise among the beauties of the Adriatic starting from Venice on Friday, continuing to Dubrovnik (Croatia), Corfu and Kefalonia (Greece), Kotor (Montenegro), returning to Split (Croatia) before heading to Trieste and then reach Venice again.
In the ports of Dubrovnik, Split, Corfu, Kefalonia and Kotor, MSC Lirica will make longer stops; in this way, the guests will have more time to explore and discover these beautiful places.
The news is the possibility of boarding also from Trieste on Thursday.
From Venice to Malta and Syracuse onboard MSC Lirica:
The other big news at Msc Crociere is that for the first time a route starting from Venice will stop in Malta and Sicily (in Syracuse).
MSC Lirica, from June 22nd to September 7th 2020, will start from Venice every Monday and then sail to Dubrovnik; following the ship will make a stopover in the Greek islands of Corfu and Kefalonia and then land in Valletta. After the stop in Malta, it will reach Syracuse, the new port from where it will be possible to visit the archaeological park of Neapolis.
Cicerone called Syracuse “the most beautiful city of Magna Graecia”. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, the city stands in the scenic natural harbour, surrounded by the island of Ortigia and by the Epipoli plateau.
Onboard MSC Lirica:
MSC Lirica gives a cruise experience focused on elegance, comfort and hospitality, with 992 cabins. The spaces of the ship allow you to experience a relaxing atmosphere, with sea views thanks to panoramic windows.

For families there is a play area for children in collaboration with Lego Group and Chicco, a spray park with water games, two swimming pools and a complete activity program for children of all ages.
Onboard there is also the MSC Aurea Spa, ideal for those who want to relax, while the Broadway Theater offers entertainment every night. In addition, guests have a wide choice of dining options with the two main restaurants, the buffet and the Kaito Sushi Bar.
