Explora Journeys unveils excursions for its first Alaska season

Explora Journeys has unveiled its excursions for its inaugural summer season in Alaska, which includes 14 departures between May and September 2027. Cruises in the region will be operated by Explora III, the new flagship arriving in July 2026, currently undergoing final outfitting stages at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa Sestri Ponente.

The organized tours will be divided into four different segments to cater to all tastes. Adrenaline junkies can fly by helicopter over glaciers or approach them by catamaran, while animal lovers can participate in Whale Watching sessions or watch black bears hunting salmon in the rivers. It will also be possible to take part in boat tours among the fjords and wild forests, or discover the history of the place by meeting local populations in the forest, or take a fascinating journey on an old steam train along the routes of the gold prospectors.
