The booking to the United Arab Emirates with Costa Cruises is open for winter season. This new winter program 2020 brings an important innovation: Costa Diadema shall be a regular cruise ship. As the company’s current flagship, it will be the protagonist of the “From Sand to Skyscrapers” itinerary between Dubai, Oman and Qatar from November, 2019 to March, 2020.
To support the program, Costa Cruises provides a particularly strengthened extralanding plan with a wide range of special flights throughout the coming winter from Alghero, Ancona, Bologna, Bari, Cagliari, Catania, Genoa, Lamezia Terme, Milan Malpensa, Palermo, Pisa, Pescara, Rome Fiumicino and Verona.
The decision to have Costa Diadema as a regular cruise ship in the United Arab Emirates represents a challenge for the shipping company. “We are confident that our travel agencies will be able to best seize the opportunity to offer their customers a unique cruise experience, which combines an itinerary that is already very attractive to a particularly rich experience on board offered by a ship like Costa Diadema, ” explained Carlo Schiavon, country manager of Costa Cruises.
There is a further enrichment in the United Arab Emirates proposal, which is the special package “Fly, Cruise & Doha” with departures from Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino: it is a stopover with an excursion among the main attractions of the capital city of Qatar.
The cruise includes boarding from Doha and will stop for more than one day between the futuristic skyscrapers of Dubai, the Arabian atmospheres of Muscat and the artistic beauties of Abu Dhabi, to then return to Doha. After disembarking in Doha, cruise passengers will have the opportunity to experience a half-day excursion exploring the main symbols of the city, such as the Islamic Art Museum, the traditional Souq Waqif and the futuristic artificial island for shopping – The Pearl.
