Carnival Cruise Line presents “The Next Course”: major news for onboard dining

admin il 12 June 2026

Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled The Next Course, a major culinary renewal plan that will introduce new restaurants, bars, and menus across the entire fleet, particularly on the two upcoming ships, Carnival Festivale, arriving in 2027, and Carnival Tropicale, which will debut the following year. Unveiled in New Orleans alongside famous chef Emeril Lagasse, this initiative stems from an analysis of the tastes of the more than six million passengers who travel with the company each year. Among the most anticipated new venues are the seafood restaurant Emeril’s Coastal Seafood, the Mediterranean spot Fetaccine (combining Greek and Italian specialties), and the Hawaiian-Asian corner Uku Lei Lei. Exclusively aboard Carnival Festivale, Le Bistro Musicale, a Parisian venue with live music and classic French cuisine, will also debut, along with several themed bars such as The Spark, where cocktails will be inspired by famous songs.

In addition to new specialty restaurants, Carnival will refresh the daily culinary offerings for all ships in the fleet, making the service more convenient and faster. The main dining rooms will feature completely updated menus for breakfast, brunch, and dinner, and will introduce an express dining option for those looking for a quick lunch. The Lido Marketplace buffet will feature a daily menu specifically designed for children, while the Mexican kiosk BlueIguana Cantina will offer rotating special dishes. Other upcoming introductions include the Bagels @ Sea corner with freshly baked savory bagels, kiosks dedicated to ice cream and milkshakes, refreshed menus for the exclusive Chef’s Table experience, and the option to order meals via smartphone for even greater convenience.
