Windstar Cruises has unveiled its new 2028-2029 Asia season aboard Star Seeker, a collection of voyages including a total of 25 departures between September 2028 and May 2029 to the most fascinating destinations in the Far East. The itineraries will visit key destinations in Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Singapore. Janet Bava, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted how the ship’s smaller size allows direct access to historical city center docks and small ports usually unreachable by large cruise ships, such as passages along the Saigon and Chao Phraya rivers, responding to strong growth in bookings for the Asian region.

The schedule is based on four core 10 or 11-night itineraries, which can be combined into longer voyages (called Star Collector) ranging from 20 to 42 days. Additionally, pre or post-cruise land extension packages are available to visit locations such as Hanoi, Angkor Wat, Chiang Mai, and Kyoto. Among the main routes are the “Grand Japan” voyage between Tokyo and Osaka, the “Vietnam & Cambodia Revealed” tour with extended stays in Ho Chi Minh City and Halong Bay, and the itinerary between Bangkok and Phuket with an overnight stay in Singapore.
