In the summer of 2028, Virgin Voyages will debut in Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea with Valiant Lady, which will be homeported in Amsterdam from July 9 to September 4, 2028. The season features six entirely new itineraries, including four Marvelous Voyages dedicated to Northern Europe and two repositioning cruises, enriched by 15 new ports of call never before visited by the Virgin fleet, including Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Hamburg. Bookings will open on August 13, 2026, with 24-hour exclusive access reserved for Sailing Club members, before the general opening scheduled for August 14, 2026.

The four itineraries exploring Northern Europe are designed to complement each other: starting with the 12-night Scandinavia & Stockholm Overnight (five countries with an overnight stay in Stockholm), then moving on to the pristine landscapes of the Norwegian Fjords (7 nights between Flåm and Bergen) and the evening atmospheres of Scandinavia & Hamburg (7 nights with long stops in Copenhagen and Hamburg). The highlight of the season will be the 11-night Arctic Circle & Norwegian Fjords cruise, which will take the ship up to 71°N towards North Cape, celebrating the crossing of the Arctic Circle with a special onboard ceremony and a deck party illuminated by the midnight sun.

Framing the season are two 10-night crossings each between Barcelona and Amsterdam, featuring calls in Morocco, Spain, France, plus an overnight stay in Lisbon. For those wishing to experience the Nordic summer without interruptions, the Summer Pass 2028 package will allow combining all four Northern Europe itineraries, gaining VIP benefits and exclusive access to the Arctic Circle celebrations.
