MSC Cruises has opened bookings for the 2028 summer season in Alaska, confirming the great success of the destination with a series of 7-night itineraries aboard MSC Poesia. For the third consecutive year, from April 24 to September 18, 2028, with weekly departures from Seattle, the ship will take its guests to discover the wild landscapes of the Inside Passage. The journey will touch upon the most fascinating destinations in the region such as the fjords and glaciers of Tracy Arm, the capital Juneau, the native traditions of Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point, before making a stop in the picturesque Canadian city of Victoria.

Passengers will embark aboard a recently renovated MSC Poesia, fresh from a major restyling that has brought luxury solutions onboard, such as the exclusive MSC Yacht Club, the “ship-within-a-ship” concept offering 69 elegant suites, a 24/7 private butler, and dedicated areas like a restaurant, lounge, and sundeck with whirlpool. The culinary offering has also been enhanced with two of the company’s famous themed restaurants: the American-style steakhouse Butcher’s Cut and the Kaito Sushi Bar, dedicated to Asian cuisine.

In addition to the renewed wellness areas with an enhanced MSC Aurea Spa and Technogym gym, life on board will be marked by high-level entertainment, including the live show Dirty Dancing: In Concert. As emphasized by CEO Gianni Onorato, the early opening of sales for 2028 responds to the strong demand from travelers worldwide. Guests will thus be able to combine adventure and wildlife observation among whales and glaciers with the comfort and refined hospitality that have always characterized the MSC fleet.
