Windstar Cruises: Wind Spirit ready for restyling before sailing for Europe

admin il 5 August 2026

Windstar Cruises has announced that Wind Spirit will offer a special voyage as part of the second phase of its “Setting Sails” modernization program. Following its dry dock entry scheduled for early 2027 in Europe, the 148-passenger sailing yacht will depart on March 7, 2027, from Malaga for a four-night itinerary between Spain, Morocco, and the United Kingdom, calling at Almería, Tangier, and Gibraltar. This initiative follows the successful refurbishment of its sister ship Wind Star and precedes work on Wind Surf (scheduled for December 2026), positioning the ship for year-round operation between the Mediterranean, Aegean, and Canary Islands.

The restyling interventions will profoundly transform both the common areas and the onboard accommodations. Among the main novelties, the complete renovation of the Amphora restaurant stands out, which will feature new furnishings, flooring, and custom-made banquettes. Cabins will also benefit from a significant comfort upgrade, thanks to the introduction of new padded headboards, integrated lighting, and charging ports next to the beds, complemented by entirely redesigned wellness and spa areas to enhance the quality of the onboard experience.
