Disney Cruise Line looks to the future and unveils its programming for the autumn 2027 and spring 2028 seasons, characterized by significant returns to historic ports and the debut of new routes. The most anticipated news is the company’s return to New York for the first time since 2023. Aboard the Disney Wish, travelers can sail to the pink sand beaches of Bermuda or admire the striking autumn landscapes of New England and Atlantic Canada, with stops in Halifax, St. John, and Boston. The fleet expansion will also see the Disney Magic as the protagonist of two impressive 14-night crossings through the Panama Canal, which will include the first historic calls at Fuerte Amador and Colón, while departures from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to the Southern Caribbean will increase aboard the Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish.

Florida reconfirms itself as the operational heart of Caribbean routes, welcoming for the first time three Wish-class ships simultaneously at Port Canaveral. Among these, the debut of the new Disney Destiny stands out, which will offer itineraries between the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean alongside the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. The latter will continue to offer weekly cruises enhanced by double stops at Disney Castaway Cay, the company’s private island. In parallel, the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, with the latter also undertaking an unprecedented eight-night route to Bermuda. On the Pacific coast and in Texas, the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic will be based in San Diego to explore Baja California and the Mexican Riviera. Subsequently, the Disney Magic will move to Galveston to offer direct connections to both of the company’s private destinations in the Bahamas, including the new Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

The brand’s expansion continues at full speed in Southeast Asia aboard the Disney Adventure, which will continue to sail from Singapore, introducing, starting December 31, 2026, the unprecedented port of call in Langkawi, Malaysia, to allow passengers to discover its striking rainforests. To complete the offering, the beloved themed cruises will return: the thrilling Halloween on the High Seas festivities will kick off in September 2027, while between November and December, the festive atmosphere of the Very Merrytime Cruises will transform the ships’ decks with decorations, themed parties, and special events for the whole family. Early bookings for Castaway Club members will open on August 31, 2026, then extend to all travelers from September 8.
