From MSC World Asia to the Caribbean: all the new offerings from MSC Cruises for winter 2026/2027

MSC Cruises has unveiled the details of its winter 2026/2027 program, offering a global selection reaching 168 destinations in 72 countries. The main novelty of the season is the debut of the new flagship MSC World Asia, which will set sail on December 4, 2026 for its maiden season in the Western Mediterranean with weekly cruises. The ship will introduce design solutions inspired by Asian culture, over 40 bars and restaurants, a record-breaking dry slide over 81 meters long, and the Cliffhanger panoramic ride, suspended 50 meters above the sea.

Overall, the company will deploy six ships in the Mediterranean, complementing the classic seven-night itineraries between Italy, Spain, France, and Malta with new long-haul routes of 10 to 12 nights heading towards Egypt, Cyprus, Morocco, and Croatia. These extended voyages have been designed to allow travelers to discover the major historical attractions of the basin, taking advantage of the mild climate and pleasantly relaxed pace of the off-season.

For those wishing to experience the festive atmosphere, the program will also include Northern Europe with seven-night voyages from Southampton, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Le Havre, and Zeebrugge. This route will allow easy access to major capitals such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Brussels, offering the ideal opportunity to visit Hamburg’s traditional Christmas markets and the spectacular winter illumination of the Nordic cities.

The offering for warm destinations will feature nine ships positioned between the Caribbean and the Antilles, marked by the absolute debut of the first direct embarkations from La Romana in the Dominican Republic and the usual calls at the private island Ocean Cay in the Bahamas. Finally, to complete the winter destination lineup, weekly itineraries dedicated to the Canary Islands and Madeira will return, perfect for those seeking a subtropical climate amidst the volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote and the beaches of Gran Canaria.
