MSC Cruises has announced that MSC World Asia, the new flagship of the fleet arriving in December 2026, will host the renowned Eataly restaurant on board. The ship will be the second in the company to feature this brand at sea, following its debut on MSC World America, thereby bringing an authentic Italian gastronomic experience to the Mediterranean routes. The agreement unites MSC’s European roots with Eataly’s excellence in promoting Italian cuisine worldwide. MSC Cruises CEO, Gianni Onorato, highlighted that the collaboration stems from the desire to enrich the onboard offering with high-level dining, capable of combining the quality of raw ingredients with the culinary tradition of our country.

The new restaurant will offer a welcoming atmosphere with sea views and an open-air terrace, complemented by a menu focused on regional specialties prepared with selected ingredients. Among the novelties of the experience are live dish preparation with chefs dedicated to the table and the possibility of guided tours in The Terraces Bar’s wine cellar to directly choose one’s own bottle of wine. With over 40 bars, lounges, and restaurants on board, MSC World Asia will set sail on December 6, 2026, from Genoa for its inaugural season. The ship will offer seven-night cruises in the Western Mediterranean with stops in Barcelona, Marseille, Valletta, and the main Italian ports of Civitavecchia, Naples, and Messina.
