Zadar Cruise Port: the supercars of the “Ferrari Cavalcade” arrive in Croatia with Explora II

The Croatian Zadar Cruise Port hosted last July 2nd the “Ferrari Cavalcade“, the exclusive international gathering that brings together Ferrari owners from around the world to drive along scenic routes. This year’s edition introduced for the first time an unprecedented formula combining a road trip with a cruise in the Adriatic and Mediterranean aboard Explora II. Almost 300 guests disembarked in Zadar, reuniting with their cars (over 120 Ferraris transported to the port overnight), then kicking off a spectacular armored parade through the city’s historic peninsula.

The port director, Rebeka V. Pevec, expressed great pride in the perfect success of the event, emphasizing how the management of such a complex organizational machine reflects the operational excellence of the port. Since its inception in 2011, the “Ferrari Cavalcade” has visited iconic destinations worldwide such as Tuscany, Monaco, Dubai, Kyoto, and San Francisco; the success of this new Croatian leg required close and meticulous collaboration between the port, the Ferrari brand, Canossa Events, and local authorities.
