MSC Cruises looks two years ahead and opened reservations for MSC Seashore, for the inaugural season in the western Mediterranean. Starting from June, 2021, the ship will be the protagonist of a seven-night itinerary with a stopover in the iconic ports of Genoa, Naples, Messina, Valletta, Barcelona and Marseille.
From now on and for the next two weeks, sales will be exclusively open to members of the MSC Voyagers Club, a program that rewards loyal guests. All other guests will be able to book a cruise starting July 11, 2019.
Booking during the first two weeks of opening of the sales period, Voyagers Club members will receive a special 5% discount in addition to 5% of their loyalty discount, as well as benefit from the possibility of having the first choice on cabin selection. The other guests can also take advantage of a 5% discount for early bookings up to 11 September 2019.
The Characteristics of MSC Seashore
MSC Seashore will be with a gross tonnage of 169,500 tons, a length of 339 meters and it will have 2270 cabins with a maximum capacity of 5,877 guests and 1,648 crew members.
It will be the third ship of the Seaside Generation, after the ships MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview, launched in 2017 and 2018, and also the first of two Seaside EVO ships enriched with larger public spaces and more cabins with the highest ratio of external space for host of any ship in the company fleet.
Seashore will set sail on its maiden voyage on June 13, 2021 and after 18 months it will be joined by a second ship Seaside EVO which will arrive in autumn 2022 which is also under construction in Italy at Fincantieri.
Among the main innovations of the new ship, there is a larger magrodome (sliding glass roof), a two-story lounge with a large aft window that can accommodate 600 passengers, a larger theater, an entire additional deck dedicated to the Yacht Club, a higher number of pools and some gastronomic refinements including a restaurant with sushi train.

MSC Seashore is an evolution of the innovative Seaside prototype, but this futuristic ship has allowed us to further improve the guest experience by introducing new features and structures, as well as some improvements over those already existing,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, “With greater capacity and expanded facilities, MSC Seashore will offer guests many opportunities to experience the sea even closer and enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean when the ship enters service.”
MSC Seashore will be equipped with innovative design cabins to accommodate families and groups. Even the suites of the Yacht Club will have a new style and a walk-in closet inside. In addition to this, there will be two more luxury suites with whirlpool tubs and another 28 row cabins with a private sunbathing area.
The ship will be equipped with the latest environmental technologies available to reduce environmental impact, including: an exhaust gas cleaning system for cleaner emissions; an advanced wastewater treatment system; intelligent heating systems, ventilation and air conditioning (hvac) to recover heat from machinery spaces; led lighting and smart devices to save energy significantly. Furthermore, the ship will be equipped with a selective catalytic reduction system (SCR), which reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) in harmless nitrogen (N2) and water.
